As a boy I have to agree that when #MeToo first started,it was actually something good!If anything,it showed a change of time and a change of stance for not only women but men too!It was a proof that the women in modern times are no longer afraid to speak up.It was just a simple hashtag on social media but for so many women who had been under pressure in their own workplace,it was a sign of hope,it was that small ray of light reaching towards them through the small crevices in a cave giving them the ability to speak because now,they knew that they were not alone.But recently everything has been going wrong and the movements that were supposed to mean something have become a toxic weapons of mass witch hunting and SJW(Social Justice Warrior) bullshit.The tool that was made for self-defence has become a tool for cancel culture by using the social media hate bandwagon.Wrong people took over #MeToo, people who were desperate for attention and desperate to reach their end goal without caring about the consequences.The cancellation of people through MeToo has become a very toxic trend now and the only people who are suffering are innocent men and women.People are on social media are the Judge,Jury & The Executioner and these people are popularly known as Social Justice Warriors(SJW) who have no facts and no logic.They see one little thing and they believe it and then begins a non-sense hate trend.

Lets have a little chat about these Social Media Lawyers who can easily turn an entire thread into a Toxic waste land of cancer.Their are two types of 'Warriors' on the internet,the warriors who catch you doing something wrong and now you have to face the consequences and if you are an egotistical human who believes that you are always right,than the call outs will only increase and even turn into more roasts and memes instead of constructive criticism.I am fine with these ones.And then there are the extremists Social Justice Warriors who just want one topic that they can turn into cancer.One small news,one little allegation and bam there they are using their online law degree to cancel someone without any facts and logic and when they are proved wrong,they still try to find excuses to justify there bullshit in more nonsensical ways.SJWs are the core problem of any kind of movement turning into toxicity and that is how other people fall into the bandwagon as well by throwing away their own logical thought process out of the window.This is the Bandwagon effect we learned about in Economics back in school.People will behave as if they know everything and every little detail about a certain case or allegation and then begins the constant case of online harassment which can brake any man or women,specially if they are innocent.And that is the sad part because the only people that are getting affected are innocent men and women.Whenever MeToo is used to throw allegations against men,people throw their rational thinking and they just jump to conclusions without having proper information about both sides and it is impossible to have proper information on social media.Without second thoughts,people will try to cancel anyone which can be both the person who is supposedly guilty and the person who is supposedly the victim.Then comes the whole trend of exposing people online which in itself is like a big tumor.This includes exposing people using private Dms, converstions,pictures,call logs,etc which is just sad.They can be altered and it can be easily used to ruin the life of any person in a flash, both men and women.The recent case of Utsav Chakraborty is actually pretty fascinating in the whole exposed saga trend as he was exposed by some women(I forgot her name and I am too lazy to go look for it)and altered version of his dms were used to make him look like a horrible person but after an year,he finally came back with all the proof required to defend himself and his entire Twitter thread is really something.

This man lost an entire year because he was framed as a predator by a women who has not even him in real life(Waht?) and he lost his career and his reputation and all his friends abandoned him the internet judged him.This led to the downfall of AIB and although I am no fan of AIB or their way too edgy sense of humor, it is still just sad.I have always believed this and it seems I was right,PEOPLE SHOULD KEEP THEIR PERSONAL ISSUES OFF THE INTERNET.It was a matter between two or more people and not the Internet and dragging this mess onto the internet was a just a cancerous move.Cases between two or more individuals are just their own stuff and not the internet's business."Why would so many women lie about one person?"— Utsav Chakraborty (@Wootsaw) November 21, 2019

A Tool Of Witch-hunting?
Some people argue that because of false allegation cases,MeToo is just a tool of witch-hunting that is used by women to ruin the people that they do not like.Although some people are using it as some form of witch-hunting tool,I think it is wrong to just assume that all it is used is for is witch hunting and people who say this are also part the toxic SJW.Its just that they are on the opposite end of the spectrum.It is no different than the war between the far left and the far right but just with way more toxicity.
How did it became so influenced by the wrong people?
I think this happened because the initial boost of the movement or the hashtag was just viral in nature. It was never an organised trend but a trend that just blew up after the Harvey Weinstein stuff.It just exploded and explosions always get out of control.People did not direct MeToo to a fixed and stable path and it just kept on going randomly to the point that anybody was able use it whenever they wanted,however they wanted,against whoever they wanted and for whatever they wanted.But it is just easy for me to say that because after all I am not a women and I cannot really emulate a women's true emotion but I think there is some truth to what I said,atleast if I think towards it from a neutral stand and I really believe that the more viral nature of the movement is one of its main disadvantages.I also believe that even though the movement started from women,it can be applied to men as well just how many things that are applied to men can be applied to women as well.It does show that both men and women have some some rather virtual,unrealistic and illogical laws that have been shoved onto them by the society that just seem too impossible to be broken.Society is unfair to both men and women and we cannot do anything to really fix that besides accepting it.
Sufferings of the innocent
At the end of the day,the only people that are actually suffering are the innocent men and women.You have toxic women who who use MeToo to destroy the the life of some innocent men and this in turn reduces the effect of MeToo which only creates problems for the real victims and survivors who then are unable to gain the trust of the people which only takes them to a much more darker place.I think I do not even need talk about the toxic side of men at this point.At the end of the day,MeToo is a hashtag and it will only take you so far.There are still many women who are still abused in their workplaces and even MeToo is of no use to them.Fighting in real life is much more important and the current generation women are fighters and they are much more bigger than a hashtag.And it is really hard to fight back specially due to the pressure of the society's reaction.
Will Things Get Better?
On social media?I doubt it.Too many toxic people online and most of them are probably participate in such matters probably for entertainment and not because they actually care.They like creating drama and people love drama.Logical people who have a rather different opinion to them are shut down immediately are hated on.Facts and logic in most cases do not matter any more.People will most probably just jump on one side without digging into the other side.Anyone will say anything and people will never be sceptical about it.I prefer to be the middle man who is neutral and who just absorbs both side of the information and wait for time to tell me how right or how wrong I was.
The Movement Is Way More Effective as Physical Movement!
Another unpopular opinion that I have is that it seems like this movement is only effective when it involves celebrities or social media stars and it almost seems like people enjoy when this type of stuff happens.I think that as of now,this movement really is not as helpful to a normal person from a internet point of view as long as it is not viral.But if you remove the internet side of the story,I think in real life as a physical and organised movement,it is much more effective and it will most likely have more logical people involved that way without getting plagued by toxic masculism and toxic feminism.
Again,I could be very wrong and maybe I sound like complete idiot about everything but feel free to correct my mistakes because after all,we are all humans and life is all about fixing mistakes and learning!
Now that I have let my thoughts out,I guess I can finally watch the last 5 episodes of Death Note in peace.Bye.....
